Welcome to AIESEC BI

AIESEC BI will run the following projects during the 2010-2011 term:

Fredskorpset Opportunity Project

This project is a cooperation between AIESEC Norway and Fredskorpset. The aim is to send Norwegian students on 6 months internship in 3 countries; Cambodia, Mozambique and Kenya. The task of the project team in AIESEC BI will be:

Promote the opportunity to Norwegian students

Select suitable candidates for the internships

Maintain the partnership with the countries and AIESEC

Prepare the participants both culturally and professionally

Support the participants during the whole process, before, during and after the internships

Summer Camps 2011 Project

This is a project with the aim to bring international interns to work in Summer Camps in Norwegian NGO’s and organizations. The role of the project team at AIESEC BI is to create internship opportunities for the international students, to raise sponsorship in order to finance the projects, and to facilitate the whole experience of the participants.

Market Expansion Project

This is a project with the aim to sell internships to Norwegian Corporations that are looking to expand to new markets abroad. The role of AIESEC is to provide the company with international students who have the local culture and language knowledge, corporate working experience in the country, and the relevant academic and working background (mostly sales and marketing).

Summer Abroad 2011 Project

This project has the aim to send Norwegian students on short term internships abroad during the summer 2011. The destination countries are Kenya, Turkey and China. The field of work for the participants will be development and education.

Professional Internship Project

This project is ongoing from October 2010 to June 2011. It has the aim to provide Norwegian graduates with management and administrational internship abroad. The main focus will be on internships that require Norwegian speakers abroad.
