AIESEC UiS is the youngest local committee in AIESEC Norway
and it is based on campus at the Pavilion 9.
It was first founded by 2 student in 2006, soon after it received its status as on extension of AIESEC NHH. Since then this local
committee have been set on becoming an official Local Committee.
Today our local committee have members from Norway, Philippines, Ukraine, Russia, Pakistion, Egypt, Peru & Ecuador.
Our local committee has been acknowledged for having a good
team spirit and motivated members. This year we're aiming for some action.

We are looking for?
- 1st & 2nd year students in Bachelor Programs (preferably)
- Interest in leadership and management is a must
- Study fields in or connected to Business, Management, Administration, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Project Management.
- Others: Human Resources, Organization, Sales & Innovation, Tourism & Managements, Language & Communication, etc
- Good communication skills
Membership Requirements (general requirements)
- participation in EXCEL, National Conference, in September 23-26, 2010
- presence in local meetings and engagement in local activities

Outgoing Exchange
Revolves around sending students from Stavanger out on internships in foreign countries.
- Gain valuable marketing experience
- Get real life experience working in or leading a team
- Overcome your fear of public speaking

- Run training sessions for people going on internships
- give people life changing experiences
Do you want to spread the word about internships?
Incoming Exchange
Involves raising internships in Stavanger and receiving the interns that come to fill these positions.
- Contact and meet with company leaders
- Build your personal network
- Learn market research and segmentation
- Develop new products
- gain experience in job recruitment
- receive interns and help them settle in Norway.
- Learn to sell in a professional environment
We are currently looking for a Vice president of Incoming Exchange who will be the main responsible for raising new internships and members that are interested in future Leadership position
in Stavanger.
We are also looking for Incoming Exchange members who can sell AIESEC to companies.
Talent Management & Communications
Involves ensuring satisfaction, motivation and education of AIESECs members.
- Participate in recruitment and interviews
- Help others fulfill their potential
- Organize social events and seminars
- learn to motivate others and help them grow
- organize the education and training of members
-Get PR experience with both students and companies.
-Build your personal network
-Run promotion and marketing campaigns
-Learn to manage knowledge within an organization.
-Learn basic website design.
Finance
-Get real life experience in budgeting, accounting and financial planning.
- planning/forecasting and controlling/evaluating of finances of the organization
- financial analysis
- maintain and improve financial processes
-Understand the financial perspective of an organization and projects.
- manage cash flows and come with immediate solutions for keeping control of how the money are spend
